When I started flying the C-162 at night, the first thing I found was weird is the lack of a white tail-light. Tail lights are required on "regular"/non-LSA planes, but somehow not required on LSAs. I don't get why an LSA is allowed to be less visible than bigger planes. :)
I disagree that fire is the biggest enemy for aircraft. A quick web search shows that its been more than 30 years since a major fire in the air. Even for small planes (which usually don't fly pressurized), the leading danger is fuel starvation, not fire.
@Pondlife: Rules of Grammar (not avaiation) mandate that commas separate subordinate phrases. Without the comma, the text has too many "circlings". It should read: "Rwy 36 Straight-in and Circling, and Circling to Rwy 18, NA at night."
