Mar 16, 2022 at 15:01 | comment | added | FreeMan | I could see where this would involve getting your torso involved in pulling on the yoke, instead of just your arms possibly giving you more strength for the pull, however, you would not be able to do this if you were properly strapped in with a shoulder harness as there wouldn't be enough room to move like that. I note that there is no shoulder harness in the screen grabs you provided, nor do I know if the B-26 (or firefighting adaptations) had them. However, I wouldn't count on a TV show/movie (even if a documentary) to be completely correct. | |
