Oct 21, 2016 at 20:00 comment added mins Not sure this "duplicate" is helpful, I don't understand what is the correct answer (Doppler, sound absorption, sound speed vs altitude, flaps extension). I believe anybody is able to identify the Doppler shift without knowing the name, the two answers of the duplicate don't bring much other information in detail (and none has actually been selected). Maybe it's time to build a good focused answer.
