Aug 3, 2015 at 6:23 | comment | added | JT1000 | I would do the run-up at the following locations (in order of precedence): (1) Where specified by the individual airport's local governing authority, (2) at the taxiway which you will use to move onto the active runway or (3) on the runway at the point you are going to begin your take-off roll. If using #2 it is good to turn your aircraft so that it is facing into the wind, which will usually result in your prop-wash NOT affecting an aircraft which may be directly behind you in the take-off queue (it will normally be off to one side at that point). And #3? Go back to #2.Don't block the rwy! | |
