Helicopter Does shutting down the engine affect the rate of rotation during autorotation?

If helicoptersa helicopter's tail rotor sheershears off while flying then helicopterthe helicopter's fuselage will start rotating in the direction opposite to the main rotorsrotor's rotation direction. During autorotation, Ifif I switch off the engines of the helicopter, then will it effectaffect the rate of rotation of helicopter  ? If yes then plz explain.
