I have stripped planes before (2 or 3 of them) anda Cessna 150 which needs a paint job. As I have done someexperience in painting objects with a spray can and have good hand-eye coordination. We have two planes, a 4-seater Piper Warrior, and a 2 seater Cessna 150. The 150 we got for 9000 and it needs aalso in stripping airplanes, I am thinking to paint jobthe Cessna myself.

What would be involved in me doing it myselfare the considerations required for this job? II would enjoy the experience and I'm able to get it prepped and ready. WhatWhat would be a good electrostatic paint machine to get, where shouldfor this job? And how can I go, and what would be a good way to practice before painting the aircraft?

Note, I know the paints are different, I've heard of something called Imron, as well as Epoxy paints that harden and set. Suggestions on that would be welcome too.

How do I paint an airplane with an electrostatic paint gun?
