Autism isn't a disease, nor is it a disability in and of itself (even thoghthough allistic people's behavior towards autistic people can very well be disabling). It is just a natural variation in human neurology, just like some people are white and others are black. As

The FAA doesn't even list autism as a disqualifying factor what so everwhatsoever, yet many AMEs ignore that and discriminate against autistic pilots by putting the undue burden of further psychological testing on them.
