I'm no longer contributing to the main StackExchange sites.
I was one of the top 0.5%-contributors on stackoverflow.com, because I was convinced that the goal of StackExchange Inc. was to create a high-quality repository of Questions&Answers. But the company does no longer have this goal: The company does no longer value the community that created this site.
Moreover, strikingly obvious examples for the five characteristic features of totalitarianism can be observed in the Stack Exchange networks:
- The presence of uninterpretable laws
- The presence and power of unqualified pseudo experts
- Status-defined ethics
- Freezing fear of engaging in public discussion
