Why does the B-2 Spirit have a pattern of thin white lines?
@Fattie, crew access to the B-2 is via a ladder underneath. See (e.g.) twitter.com/Whiteman_AFB/status/1115686738582745088 |

Why does the A-4 Skyhawk sit nose-up when on ground?
"The nose landing gear oleo strut could be extended" ... Fleet Air Arm F-4K even moreso, apparently. |

Why are there no cargo aircraft with “flying wing” design?
Not at the airport it's flying over, certainly... |

Why did AF447 never return to normal law?
It's clear that it doesn't get automatically reset. Can it be manually reset during flight? |

Why not make the touchdown zone of runways wider than the rest?
"if you touch down off the side of the runway" then you've screwed up badly and should have gone around. |

What exactly does it mean, that plane has diverted due to the needs of a passenger?
"someone has committed suicide on the rail lines" -- not necessarily; I think they use it for any time a person ends up on the track which (a) might not be fatal; (b) might not be deliberate (drunken stumbling; pushed). I'm not entirely sure the person has to end up under a train. |

Why would pilots get special cups?
I think there's something missing from your answer: I get that lids prevent spillages, but why would mismatched lids help? A passenger cup with a fitting lid would suffice, so why use different ones for the pilots? |

Why do budget airlines not use the jetbridge that's right there?
So there are fees for the bridge over and above the stand next to it? |

Why do budget airlines not use the jetbridge that's right there?
Hmmm. Good question. Unknown. This has happened sufficiently often (in my experience) with budget airlines that they can't all be inop jet bridges. |
