long story short:

I am a Belgian citizen.

I can't obtain an EASA medical Class 2 due to the lack of depth perception. However, I hold a valid FAA Class 1.

I am looking into going for FAA PPL and converting it to an EASA LAPL afterward. This way, with a PPL I will keep all my options open if I pursue a career in aviation.

The question is: Is this conversion ( FAA => EASA LAPL) possible without the need for significant extra training and holding both licenses?

I am confused because a LAPL is a sub-ICAO license.
