Is it allowable for an EASA 145 approved maintenance organisation of a commercial airline to remove and release a component as Serviceable with an EASA Form 1?

To make it more specific, is it allowable for an engine MRO to remove an LRU/component from an engine undergoing a shop-visit and then release it on an EASA Form 1 as Inspected/Tested stating that the component was removed after visual inspection (Block 12 remarks)?
