I am to load test an airplane wing,how does pitch moment(Cm) comes into play or is it insignificant in relation to wing load distribution? St cyr 24 is the airfoil of the wings, at 10° Cm=0.07,how does this affect load distribution on wings?

  • $\begingroup$ For straight wings the pitching moment influences the torsional loads on the wing. If it is significant or not depends on many factors: wing geometry, structure, load case,... Perhaps you should try to be a bit more specific. $\endgroup$ – Gypaets Feb 9 at 13:48
