Sorry for the edit but, as discussed in meta, calling helicopters "choppers" really annoys most rotary pilots :), hope you don't mind.

Or are you asking that if all other things are equal, is there a preferred turn direction in helicopters for 'built-in' reasons of aerodynamics, torque, or whatever?
